Some time ago, I was wondering about the difficulties that I had (and I have yet, I need to admit) to understand the Candomble, even on the simple things. There was a hard way I get to understand the sacrifices, the words in Yorubá (african language) and even the great number of deities that Candomble have.
I was created as an Umbandist, and it is with surprise that I have received the news that my Orixa request me to initiate on Candomble. For love to him and to another spiritual guide, I make my initiation I discovered the hapiness that the proximity of the Orixa and the dedication and contact with these spirits. Even being an Umbandist, I learn to respect and understand the work developed by Candomble
The Candomble, by his oral tradition, the understanding of new acolites, and by this blog I wish to clarify in a simple form the questions that the people who does not know the Candomble has, and to diminish the bad ideas the people have about it because lack of information.
I wish to inform that all information on this blog cames from my knowledge and it is my entire responsability, from my researches; because that they can be completed or even corrected; I wish to be a Beacon of Light for those who seeks clarifications and knowledge.
